How to remove the Porsche Cayenne 955 ECU

Even though the VR Tuned ECU Flash for the 955 Porsche Cayenne S and Turbo is done via the OBDII port, you may need to remove your ECU if you encounter other problems.  Bricking the ECU, need to bench flash, or replace, pulling the ECU out of the Cayenne from 03-07 is not that difficult.  We have some customer photos here that show the removal of his ECU.  The ECU is located under the windshield trim on the passenger (LHD cars) side.  Make sure to take off your negative battery terminal to reduce the risk of shorting our your ECU.  Always remove ECU related components gently and never force anything.
