The Ford Focus RS is on everyone’s must have list for a hot hatch.  Coming with all wheel drive, manual transmission, and 350 horsepower out of a 2.3L turbo ecoboost engine, this is a definitely a hot hatch.  The ECU in this vehicle is a MED17.2.2 that with the proper tools, can be flashed via the OBDII port or done on the bench.  This common Bosch ECU is covered by the VR Tuned iFlash like the Ford Focus ST, Dimsport MyGenius handheld flasher, and Alientech KessV2 for OBDII or the Alientech KTag for boot mode.  The 16V 2.3L Turbocharged engine features Direct Fuel Injection along with dual variable valve timing.  Also found in the Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L turbo, VR Tuned now has the ability to offer performance flashing for both platforms for cars worldwide.

As tested by our European tuning partners on 93 octane, the car made 25 wheel horsepower and 80nm of torque over stock.
