We had a chance to test out our VR Tuned ECU Flash on this 2012 Mercedes CLS550.  The 550 features the 4.7L V8 Bi-Turbo that makes 402 horsepower.  On our Mustang All Wheel Drive Dyno with 91 octane, this would put the baseline right around 310awhp.  The reason we run the car in AWD is to not affect the drivetrain controls and set the car into limp mode.  In addition to the ECU Flash, this car also had a set of catless downpipes and a Meisterschaft GT Racing Axle Back Exhaust.  In total, this should make the car right around 530bhp which is a HUGE gain over the stock 402bhp.  With our 20-25% drivetrain loss, the car made just under 410 awhp horsepower on 91 octane.  What we noticed that was interesting was the flat spot on the top of the RPM range.  The car did not have any tire slippage.  So we actually compared this dyno to our Project CLS63 with a Renntech flash from 2011.  The car exhibited the same type of behavior.  Overall very happy with the performance and sound that was achieved.
